GOLF BALL DETECTING METHOD FOR SIMULATOR FOR INDOOR AND SCREEN GOLF PRACTICE RANGE

PURPOSE: A detecting method of a golf ball for a golf practicing room is provided to conveniently do maintenance and repair by having a detecting apparatus for detecting a golf ball hit by a golfer with a constitution which is much simpler than prior technology in a golf simulation system of screen golf. CONSTITUTION: A detecting method of a golf ball for a screen golf practicing room detects the golf ball hit by a golfer with a horizontal sensor comprising a light emitting sensor and a light receiving sensor. The detecting method measures the distance(P) which passes through beam width domain of the light receiving sensor. The detecting method computes a vertical launching angle of the golf ball by using correlation(CAL_P) between the moved distance(P) at a beam width domain of the light receiving sensor of the golf ball and the vertical launching angle of the golf ball.
