APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING SCALE OF MATERIALS

PURPOSE: A scale prevention device is provided to accept a rolling roll to cut-off an accepting unit from the outside and to prevent scale occurrence with respect to a material for passing a rolling roll by injecting inert gas into the accepting unit by an oxygen free unit to form an oxidation atmosphere. CONSTITUTION: A scale prevention device comprises an accepting unit and an oxygen free unit. The accepting unit accepts a rolling roll(2) and is cut off from the outside. The accepting unit injects inert gas into the accepting unit by an oxygen free unit to form an oxidation atmosphere. The scale prevention device prevent scale occurrence with respect to a material(1) for passing a rolling roll. The oxygen free unit comprises a gas injection nozzle(30) and an air outlet(40). The gas injection nozzle is mounted on the accepting unit and is connected to a gas supply line(31) to inject the inert gas. The air outlet discharges air inside the accepting unit.
