Disclosed is a method for producing an electrode for a photoelectric conversion element, which is capable of dehydrating a photocatalyst film in a short time at low cost without requiring large-scale equipment. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing an electrode for a photoelectric conversion element, wherein: a transparent conductive film is formed on a transparent substrate (2); a photocatalyst film is formed on the transparent conductive film; and the photocatalyst film is caused to adsorb a photosensitizing dye. Before the adsorption of the photosensitizing dye by the photocatalyst film, the transparent substrate (2), which has been provided with the photocatalyst film, is immersed in an alcohol (5) that has an azeotropic temperature with water of 150°C or less and then heated therein, thereby dehydrating the photocatalyst film by azeotropy of water and the alcohol.
|
