<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided printing device in which the distal ends of loaded paper in the paper refeed tray can be aligned even if there is a variation in the paper transportation force of the transportation belt due to a variation in the total weight of the loaded paper according to factors such as the type or number of sheets of the loaded paper. <P>SOLUTION: In the double-sided printing device, a paper delivery tray is provided with an end plate for catching a leading end of one side of the transported paper and transporting the caught paper toward the paper refeed tray. The paper refeed tray is provided with a paper refeed transportation belt for transporting the paper that has been transported to the paper refeed tray, a driving motor for driving the paper refeed transportation belt, and an abutment surface for catching a leading end of the other side of the paper that has been transported by the paper refeed transportation belt. A controller further drives and controls the driving motor, after the leading end of the other side of the paper that has been transported by the paper refeed transportation belt comes into abutment with the abutment surface, so that the paper refeed transportation belt moves by a predetermined additional movement distance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
