<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a laminate type battery capable of improving productivity by restraining wrinkles due to deposition of a separator. <P>SOLUTION: A laminate type battery 1 has an electrode group 2 to which separators 31 formed to extend in a uniaxial direction are thermally welded. The separator 31 has an extension direction deposition part 31a extending in an extension direction MD of the separators 31, and a width direction deposition part 31b extending in a width direction TD orthogonal to the extension direction of the separators 31.
