<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact elevator device in which consumption energy is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In the elevator device, a brake means has a bowl-shape brake drum 2, brake arms 4a, 4b arranged turnably around a supporting points 6 arranged in one end, a brake shoes 3 stopping the rotation of a driving sheave by making surface contact with the braking surfaces of the brake drums 4a, 4b, and a braking spring 5 turning the brake arms 4a, 4b around supporting points 6 arranged in the other ends of the brake arms 4a, 4b and biasing the brake shoes 3 to the brake face side, each of the supporting points 6 of the brake arms 4a, 4b is spaced apart from the sites where the brake shoes 3 makes surface contact with the braking surfaces, and arranged in a positions where load by the brake spring 5 is increased by which the brake shoes 3 pushes and presses the brake surfaces when the unbalance torque is generated in a landing cage direction in the driving sheave. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
