A liquid crystal display module and a liquid crystal display. In the liquid crystal display module, a conventional plastic frame is replaced with a first rubber support member (6) and a second rubber support member (7). Because the plastic frame structure is replaced with the rubber structure (6, 7), the die development cost is greatly reduced. Moreover, compared with the manner in the conventional technology of using a riveting nut column to position a light guide plate (4) and an optical sheet (3), the manner of embedding metal (14, 17, 18) in the rubber structure (6, 7) to position the light guide plate (4) and the optical sheet (3) may reduce the trimming cost and the manufacturing cost of the light guide plate (4), and meanwhile, the rubber structure (6, 7) is used for absorbing expansion generated by heating the light guide plate (4), so as to reduce the probability of generation of undesirable optical problems.
