The fuel cell has electrode electrolyte units including electrolytes arranged between a cathode and an anode. Each electrolyte includes a layer thickness of approximately 15 micrometers. A tubular carrier body (2) includes a middle section (2a), an open mounting section (2b), and a cap section (2c), where the middle section includes gas-permeable pores and/or openings. The electrolyte units are attached on the middle section. Stabilization bars (2d) are formed at the middle section, and axially extended relative to a longitudinal axis of the carrier body.
