<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a recording power determination method for a recording/reproducing layer far from a light incident surface in a multilayer optical recording medium having at least one group of plural recording/reproducing layers having substantially the same material composition and thickness. <P>SOLUTION: A power range to acquire an optimum recording power of an arbitrary recording/reproducing layer A among plural recording/reproducing layers is determined by using an actual recording power measurement value of a recording/reproducing layer B existing in a light incident surface side beyond the recording/reproducing layer A and a relative ratio between recommended recording powers of the recording/reproducing layers A, B pre-recorded in the medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
