<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum dryer with a simple structure which can reduce heat energy consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The vacuum dryer M1 includes a drying tank 1 equipped with a drying chamber 11 for accommodating articles D to be dried and an oil-type vacuum pump 2 for evacuating the drying chamber 11. The drying tank 1 and the oil-type vacuum pump 2 are connected with each other through distribution pipes 4, 5. In the distribution pipes 4, 5, a cold trap 3 is provided for condensing water vapor into water. The drying tank 1 and the cold trap 3 are each connected to a heat pump 6. The evaporated moisture of the articles D to be dried in the drying chamber 11 is conveyed to the cold trap 3 in the form of water vapor. The water vapor is condensed into water in the cold trap 3. The heat pump 6 transfers condensation heat in the cold trap 3 to the drying tank 1 to make the condensation heat available as heat of vaporization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
