<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of insulating conductor wires of a stator assembly within an electric machine. <P>SOLUTION: A method of insulating a conductor wire comprises the steps of providing an electrically conductive core (50) having a longitudinal axis and applying an electrical insulation material (58, 62) to an outer surface of the core.
