<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery-powered electronic watch that enables the model variety to be expanded by eliminating restrictions on the visible part diameter of a dial. <P>SOLUTION: A solar battery-powered electronic watch 1 comprises a solar battery 4 having a base 41 and a light receiver 42; a translucent dial 5; a dial supporting ring member 3; and a solar battery guide plate fixed to the rear face of the solar battery 4. The dial supporting ring member 3 is provided with a hook engaging part 39 formed in an opening 37. The solar battery guide plate is provided with a protrusion protruding farther outward than the light receiver 42 and a hook part 49 protruding from the protrusion toward inside the opening 37 and engaged by the hook engaging part 39.
