<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analyzer having a function to cut off leaked light or entering light to cause measurement errors in the analyzer provided with detecting means for measuring liquid stored in a container by an optical method. <P>SOLUTION: The analyzer is provided with: a container 20 having an opening part; a lid body 10 having shading performance which is engageable with the container opening part; a container hold part 31 for mounting and holding the container; and a detector 32 for measuring liquid contained in the container.
