<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording medium which shows excellent water resistance and excellent water-resistant blocking properties, and prevents a white paper part from being yellowed with time. <P>SOLUTION: This heat-sensitive recording medium includes at least a heat-sensitive recording layer containing leuco dye and a coloring agent as well as a protective layer containing an adhesive. In addition, the protective layer contains an acetoacetyl denatured polyvinyl alcohol and a complete saponification polyvinyl alcohol with a polymerization degree of 3,000 to 5,000 as an adhesive. The mass ratio of the acetoacetyl denatured polyvinyl alcohol for the complete saponification polyvinyl alcohol with the polymerization degree of 3,000 to 5,000, is preferably 40:60 to 70:30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
