<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas liquid separator capable of reducing a pressure loss of a gas liquid separating member by avoiding oil from hardly returning to a compressor without causing deterioration of freezing performance along with deterioration of gas liquid separating ability of refrigerant. <P>SOLUTION: In a gas liquid separator 1 having a cylindrical body 2 whose one end is open, a header 3 which seals an open end of the body and in which a refrigerant inflow hole 3d is bored, a gas liquid separating member 7 for separating the refrigerant flowing from a refrigerant inflow hole of a header into gas and liquid, and a refrigerant ejection pipe 5 for guiding a gas refrigerant separated by the gas liquid separating member to a refrigerant outflow hole 3e along with oil stored in the bottom of the body, the gas liquid separating member 7 has a protrusion 7a gradually protruding to the refrigerant inflow hole side in a face facing the refrigerant inflow hole for rectifying the refrigerant flowing in from the refrigerant inflow hole 3d. The protrusion of the gas liquid separating member can be protruded to the refrigerant inflow hole side in a circular cone shape and a top part of the protrusion of the gas liquid separating member may be located in the refrigerant inflow hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
