<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To down-size a breaker used as a protective device of a secondary battery, or the like, while minimizing the conduction resistance during normal operation. <P>SOLUTION: The breaker includes a fixed piece 2 having a fixed contact 21, a movable piece 4 having an elastically deformable part 43 and a movable contact 3 at the tip thereof, and bringing the movable contact 3 into contact with the fixed contact 21 by pressing, a thermally-actuated element 5 which operates the movable piece 4 so that the movable contact 3 separates from the fixed contact 21 by deforming as the temperature changes, and a resin base 71 housing them. The movable piece 4 has a through hole 45 at a part where the cross-sectional area perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is larger than the cross-sectional area of the elastic part 43, and the resin base 71 has a protrusion 74 which is inserted into the through hole 45. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
