<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform optimal color correction of projection light by changing a sensing area of an RGB sensor lest light from an area other than a projection area is received, corresponding to an interchangeable lens/zoom lens/shift lens. <P>SOLUTION: An optical sensor of a projector device comprises a sensing area variable function capable of changing the sensing area and is capable of controlling the sensible area of the optical sensor so as to cope with the size of a projection image changed according to a zooming function, or the position of the projection image according to an optical shift function or an electrical control shift function, or the size/position of the projection image changed according to an interchangeable optical system, thereby performing control to correct the color of a screen surface in accordance with an output from the optical sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
