<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which effectively prevents a body side shutter or a developing device from being contaminated due to the scattering of toner. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus which comprises: a toner cartridge 47 detachably constituted to an apparatus body 2; a cartridge side shutter for opening/closing a toner discharge port of the cartridge 47; a body side shutter for opening/closing a toner receiving port 441 on the apparatus body side; a lock mechanism 90 which regulates the movement of the cartridge side shutter 10 and releases the movement regulation by the input of a releasing force; and an unlocking part 95 for inputting a releasing force by contacting with the lock mechanism 90. Both shutters 10 and 60 are contacted with each other in mounting the cartridge 47 and constituted movably in the opening direction by using a force in which the cartridge 47 is pushed in the mounting direction. The positional relation between the unlocking part 95 and the lock mechanism 90 is set so that the unlocking part 95 is contacted with the lock mechanism 90 to input a releasing force after the time when the body side shutter 60 is opened through the mounting operation of the cartridge 47. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
