<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ATM 1, an image capturing method, and an image capturing program which can evaluate whether JPEG images allow identification of a customer M and store only JPEG images allowing identification of the customer M. <P>SOLUTION: An ATM 1 comprises: an image capturing unit 22 that captures and outputs a still image of the customer M; a storage unit 14 that stores various information; and a control unit 11 that controls each unit. The control unit 11 is provided with: compressed image creation processing for creating a JPEG image from the still image of the customer M acquired by the image capturing unit 22; and compressed image evaluation processing for evaluating by comparison whether the file size of the JPEG image is larger than or equal to a reference file size, storing the JPEG image in the storage unit 14 when the file size of the JPEG image is larger than or equal to the reference file size, and outputting non-acquisition information when the file size of the JPEG image is less than the reference file size, where the non-acquisition information indicates that the JPEG image is not stored in the storage unit 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
