DOUBLE-SIDED IMAGE FORMING METHOD, AND TONER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided image forming method which is capable of forming a double-sided printed matter on which images having an equivalent smoothness are formed on both sides, and to provide toner used therefor.

SOLUTION: The double-sided image forming method uses a specific smoothing processing device and performs smoothing processing of a first surface, in which a processed body formed by a recording material carrying a toner layer on its first surface is heated at a nip part and then cooled while being in a state that the toner layer is in tight contact with a smoothing processing belt. After that, it performs smoothing processing of the processed body formed by the recording material carrying a toner layer on its second surface by heating it at the nip part while being in a state that the toner layer is in tight contact with the smoothing processing belt. It uses a toner of which melting energy ΔH which is acquired by a DSC measurement is 0.2-30 J/g, of which storage modulus G' at 120°C is 1×103-3×105, and of which storage modulus G' at 150°C is 1×102-3×104.
