Provided is a ferritic stainless steel with favorable weldability and excellent corrosion resistance even under a welding condition where sensitization occurs. A ferritic stainless steel characterized by containing, by mass, 0.001-0.030% C, more than 0.3% and up to 0.55% Si, 0.05-0.50% Mn, no more than 0.05% P, no more than 0.01% S, 19.0-28.0% Cr, from 0.01% to less than 0.30% Ni, 0.2-3.0% Mo, more than 0.08% and up to 1.2% Al, 0.02-0.50% V, 0.005-0.50% Nb, 0.05-0.50% Ti, and 0.001-0.030% N, satisfying formula (1) and formula (2), and the remainder comprising Fe and unavoidable impurities. |
