<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure achieving good maintainability and noise reduction in an indoor unit of an air conditioner including a bell mouth provided on an intake side of a blower and a drain pan provided on a discharge side of the blower. <P>SOLUTION: The bell mouth attached to the indoor unit includes an opening portion forming an aperture through which air is sucked in by the blower, an outer peripheral portion surrounding the opening portion, and a drain pan attachment part which is arranged around a peripheral edge of the outer peripheral portion and is equipped with a drain pan. A bell mouth attachment part for receiving the bell mouth is provided around the outer surface (intake side surface) of an inner periphery wall of the drain pan. The drain pan attachment part of the bell mouth is attached from bellow to the bell mouth attachment part of the drain pan. The position of the upper surface peripheral edge of the outer peripheral portion of the bell mouth is vertically equal to the position of the upper surface of the inner periphery wall of the drain pan with the bell mouth attached to the drain pan. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
