摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle device with which it is possible to properly confirm that a vehicle has stopped at and passed through a specific point. <P>SOLUTION: When a current time point is within a time range that is proximal to an estimated arrival time at a bus stop, which is called time contention, and a bus is located within a position range that is proximal to the bus stop, which is called position contention, an on-vehicle device waits until the bus enters a communication area in which short-range communication is possible (S4). After the bus enters the communication area, the on-vehicle device determines whether or not the bus has stopped (S5). In the case that the bus has stopped, a passage event indicating that the bus has stopped at the bus stop is recorded (S6). In the case that the bus has not stopped, the on-vehicle device records an image recorded by a camera (S8), and records a non-passage event indicating that the bus has not stopped at the bus stop in a volatile memory (S9).
