A collapsible bier or trolley comprises end frames 10, 11 having telescopic legs, handles 32 and castor wheels, lazy long side frames 16 which permit the bier to be collapsed longitudinally, and frames 17, 18 pivoted together at 19 and connected to the end frames by pivot joints 20 and hook-like brackets 21. The frames 17, 18 may be collapsed against the frame 10 as in Fig. 6 by lifting off the brackets 21 from the frame 11, and then folding the frame 18 beneath the frame 17 until it is held by spring clips 26. Locking means for each hinge 19 and adjustable pivotally mounted handles 30 are provided.
