<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid concentration meter of a simple structure in which a light emitting part and a light receiving part are not contaminated with suspended matter in liquid. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid concentration meter for measuring the concentration of liquid including a suspended and/or solute solid matter includes a storage part provided with a supply path for supplying liquid and an overflow path for discarding the liquid when the liquid becomes a specified amount or more to store the liquid, a measurement chamber provided at a lower part of the storage part, a liquid instruction path provided going through a partition wall partitioning the storage part and the measurement chamber, and forming a liquid column from the liquid in the storage part in the measurement chamber to make the liquid fall, a light emitting part provided facing the measurement chamber to emit measurement light from a position separated from the liquid column by a specified distance, and a light receiving part provided facing the measurement chamber to receive the measurement light at a position separated from the liquid column by a specified distance, wherein the light transmitting part and the light receiving part are provided oppositely on crossing straight lines perpendicular to the liquid column. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
