<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of reducing installation space and manpower required for construction at an installation site. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner 1 includes a filter 8 for filtering air A flown into the air conditioner, an air/liquid contact chamber 16 in which the air A passing through the filter 8 is brought into contact with a disinfectant solution 19, a chemical storage member 24 for storing the chemical 23 being a material of the disinfectant solution 19, and a generation device 25 for generating the disinfectant solution 19 from the chemical 23 stored in the chemical storage member 24.
