<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gateway unit capable of simply matching the content and the output timing of TDM data of an active system and a reserve system. <P>SOLUTION: Each relay section includes a storage section for storing a packet arriving from an IP network temporarily regardless of designation by system switching means. When designated as a relay section for active system by the system switching means, the relay section supplies a sequence number included in the head packet, as a head sequence number, to the relay section for reserve system, and also supplies a reading start time, obtained by adding a predetermined delay time to the receiving time of the head packet, to the relay section for reserve system. When designated as a relay section for reserve system by the system switching means, the relay section stores only the packets of sequence number subsequent to the head sequence number in the storage section, and begins to read the packets which have been stored in the storage section after the reading start time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
