<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate for placing fried food such as pork cutlet, menchi katsu (fried cake of minced meat), croquette, fry without coating, tempura (deep-fried fish and vegetables), fried potatoes, in particular the plate used for placing a container for taking out fried food, more particularly with which packing and packaging can be simplified and transportation is easy, and which has excellent characteristics for draining food without stickiness. <P>SOLUTION: The plate is constituted of a flat plate 2 having a protrusion 5 at an end 4, and a mounting plate 3 for fried food, connecting the plate 2 and having a slit 7 for inserting the end 6 to the protrusion 5. The mounting plate 3 includes a plurality of slits 8 set in staggered in a direction widthwise crossing the plate 2 while being formed to be shorter than the plate 2.
