The assembly (1) has a component (2) fixed at another component (3) by performing stop-welding process at multiple welding points. A set of pot or cone-shaped embossments (4) is distributed at regular intervals over a surface of the former component that affects the latter component at the embossments. Contact points (5) are provided for arrangement of the welding points such that the two components are spaced from each other by formation of a gap using the embossments, where an anti-corrosion coating (6) i.e. cathodic dip coating, is applied in the gap between the two components. The component is selected from a group consisting of a door sill, a longitudinal beam, a cross beam, an A-pillar and/or a B-pillar. The other component is selected from a group consisting of a main floor, a floor plate and/or a carrier. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a motor car structure assembly.
