<p>The method involves recognizing a situation by detecting a statement of a driver of a vehicle (100) using an environment sensor system of the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle is made to take a manual action regarding an object (106) outside the vehicle according to the situation, where the object is selected from a group consisting of a multi-story car parking machine, a dispatching switch and/or parking lot guard. Alignment of the vehicle regarding the object is supported by active, passive, transverse or longitudinal guiding of the vehicle. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program comprising a set of instructions for executing a method for operating a maneuvering assistance system of a vehicle (2) a maneuvering assistance system for a vehicle.</p> |
