<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection type display device in which the positional relation between the shift movable range and the current shift position of a projection area can be grasped, when a user performs lens shift operation. <P>SOLUTION: The projection type display device of the present proposal includes: a projector lens for projecting video; a lens shift mechanism for shifting a projection position of the video in horizontal/vertical directions; a shift amount calculation part for calculating a shift amount of the projection position; a shift movable range calculation part for calculating the shift movable range of the projection position; a shift guide creation part for creating a shift guide obtained by schematizing a shift state of the projection position, on the basis of the shift amount obtained from the shift amount calculation part and shift movable range information obtained from the shift movable range calculation part; and a video display part for combining the shift guide obtained from the shift guide creation part with an input video signal, and displaying the video. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
