<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack having an excellent waterproofness and that is easy to handle even in a situation of pouring water over itself, and to provide a saddle type vehicle having the same. <P>SOLUTION: A battery pack 40 has a case 52, battery units 62 and 64, and power supply terminals 102 and 118. Each of the battery units 62 and 64 has a plurality of batteries 182. The power supply terminal 102, the plurality of batteries 182 and the power supply terminal 118 are electrically connected by a lead part L. A blocking part B of the lead part L has a connection terminal 146 electrically connected to the power supply terminal 102, a connection terminal 140 electrically connected with the power supply terminal 118, and a detachable part 166 attachable to and detachable from the connection terminals 140 and 146. The case 52 includes a watertight first housing chamber R1 and a second housing chamber R2 having a drain part (clearances 112).
