<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a moving distance of a target by imaging the moving target without being restricted by a position and a moving direction of the target (object). <P>SOLUTION: A moving distance measuring apparatus for imaging a moving object and measuring a moving distance of the object includes: range finding means for acquiring distance data concerned with a distance from an imaging position up to the object; image generation means for imaging the object at a predetermined time interval by using an imaging lens and generating a plurality of images; and calculation means for calculating position data concerned with the positions of the object in two optional images out of the plurality of images on the basis of the distance data and calculating a moving distance of the object on a plane vertical to an optical axis direction of the imaging lens on the basis of the calculated position data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
