<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition device which can improve the appearance when opened, and can improve the operability of a partition panel at partitioning. <P>SOLUTION: A partition device 1 which partitions a space inside a building includes: a wall 10 which is arranged so as to form openings 2, 3 on both sides in a width direction; and two partition panels 20, 30 which are disposed, in a double sliding manner, along one surface 10b of the wall 10 and movably in a width direction of the wall 10 and respectively open/close the openings on both sides.
