Disclosed is a method for producing fluoroalkanesulfonic anhydride characterized in that fluoroalkanesulfonic acid and diphosphorus pentoxide are reacted while kneading at from 40°C to less than 100°C using a kneader-type reactor having a maximum power of 1.0 kW or higher per 100 L actual capacity and equipped with at least two blades; the resulting fluoroalkylsulfonic anhydride is discharged; and after discharge, the unreacted fluoroalkylsulfonic acid is discharged and recovered while the residue in the reactor is kneaded at a temperature of from 100°C to less than 140°C, and reused as a raw material. This method obtains fluoroalkanesulfonic anhydride at a high yield. |
