<p>Disclosed are a method and apparatus for generating a star-type optical signal, which is used to solve the technical problems of huge structure of the entire apparatus, complex and difficult to control in the prior art. Said method comprises: receiving an optical signal and a digitized data to be transmitted; dividing said optical signal into a first optical signal and a second optical signal; dividing said digitized data to be transmitted into a first set of digitized data and a second set of digitized data through the constellation diagram information mapping; converting said first set of digitized data to a first multi-level signal, and converting said second set of digitized data to a second multi-level signal; generating a first quadrature phase shift keying signal and a second quadrature phase shift keying signal; obtaining a star-type 2n-ary quadrature amplitude modulation optical signal based on said first quadrature phase shift keying signal and said second quadrature phase shift keying signal.</p> |
