<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for producing a polarizing plate capable of preventing the occurrence of struck traces (dents) or air bubbles in a laminate (polarizing film or transparent film) constituting the polarizing plate. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a polarizing plate comprises the steps of: applying an active energy ray curable adhesive onto one side of transparent films 2 and 3 or onto one side or both sides of a polarizing film 1; sticking the transparent films 2 and 3 and the polarizing film 1 by pressing at least one of sticking rolls 51 and 52 in a direction of the other sticking roll 52 or 51 in a state where a laminate 4 formed by laminating the transparent films 2 and 3 on one side or both sides of the polarizing film 1 through the adhesive is sandwiched between the sticking rolls 51 and 52 rotating in a conveyance direction; and applying an active energy ray to the laminate 4 to cure the adhesive. In the apparatus for producing a polarizing plate, dust removal rolls 51a and 52a for removing dust adhered to the surface of the sticking rolls 51 and 52 are provided so as to come into contact with at least one of the sticking rolls 51 and 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
