POLARIZED LIGHTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarized lighting apparatus that can reduce glare on the irradiated surface due to reflection light and has excellent utilization efficiency of emission light from a light source.

SOLUTION: The polarized lighting apparatus (1) includes a light source (11) and a wire grid polarizer (121) which polarizes and separates light emitted from the light source (11) into straight-line polarized light. The wire grid polarizer (121) has a plurality of metal wires (121a) which are installed extended in a prescribed direction, and the extension direction of the metal wires (121a) is nearly in parallel with an in-surface direction of the irradiated surface.
