<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an existing pipe repairing method including a process to recover a proper shape of an existing pipe which is aged and deformed. <P>SOLUTION: The existing pipe repairing method includes: an investigation step of investigating the conditions of deterioration and deformation of an existing pipe 100 from the inside of the existing pipe and investigating at least the inner diameter and the deformation; and a circularity recovery step of selecting at least one process of (a) a cutting process of cutting the inner wall of the existing pipe by an inner wall cutting machine into a circular cross section, and (b) a pressing process of pressing the inner surface of the existing pipe from the inside to the outside for forming a proper circular cross section of the existing pipe to correct into a circular cross section, on the basis of inner diameter data and the degree of deformation which are obtained by the investigation process, and performing the selected process to thereby secure a continuous cross section circular area of an axis line in the entire pipe line including the processed area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
