<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain airbag mounting structure capable of preventing release of an occupant to the outside from a vicinity of an upper end of an A-pillar or a vicinity of an A1 break point by a simple means. <P>SOLUTION: The curtain airbag mounting structure includes a curtain airbag, a plurality of tabs formed at the upper portion of the curtain airbag, and a plurality of brackets that are joined to the tabs and have mounting bolt holes for attaching the curtain airbag to a vehicle body along a roof side rail 124. Each of the brackets includes a first bracket 114 joined to a first tab 106 above the bolt hole 114b and a second bracket 112 joined to a tab 104 below a bolt hole 112b. An overlap amount of the curtain airbag at the first bracket 114 with a roof side rail 124 is larger than an overlap amount of the curtain airbag at the second bracket 112 with the roof side rail 124 during the deployment of the curtain airbag. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
