Disclosed is an electronic coupon acquisition and use method, comprising: after acquiring an electronic coupon from a near-field communication (NFC) device of a store, a mobile terminal having an NFC function returning a unique identifier of the mobile terminal to the NFC device; a server determining, according to a preset policy, whether to bind the electronic coupon sent by the NFC device and the unique identifier of the mobile terminal, and if yes, saving binding information in a server; when the electronic coupon is used, the mobile terminal having the NFC function establishing a connection with the server, and after authentication, the server returning a use confirmation response to the mobile terminal. Further disclosed is a system. By means of the present invention, the NFC technology can be effectively used, so that acquisition and use of an electronic coupon can be implemented without much involvement of a user, and related operations can be completed automatically.
