<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic carrier for cleaning exhaust gas capable of obtaining a catalyst for cleaning exhaust gas having sufficient catalytic activity even in an excess oxygen atmosphere. <P>SOLUTION: The catalytic carrier for cleaning exhaust gas includes: a porous body (A) made of an oxide containing at least one element selected from the group consisting of Al, Ti, Zr and Ce; and Si-based composite oxide particles (B) carried by the porous body (A) and including at least one additional element selected from the group consisting of Ti, Fe and Al. A specific surface after firing at 800°C for 5 hr in the air is 100 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g or more, and the ratio of the pore volume of pores having 1-5 nm of a pore radius after the firing is 8-50% to the pore volume of pores having 1-100 nm of a pore radius. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
