<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light-emitting element capable of emitting light on front face which, even when an upper electrode having 80% transmittance or more for light emitted from the luminous layer of the element is used, can exhibit microcavity effects by a difference in refractive index between the upper electrode and an air layer, and which, in this case, demonstrates the fact that a layer can further be formed on the upper electrode to adjust an optical path length, making it much easier to adjust the optical path length than possible in prior art, and thereby offering an organic light-emitting element having superior luminous efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: To achieve the above objective, the present invention provides an organic light-emitting element which includes a lower electrode, one or more organic layers including a luminescent layer, and an upper electrode, and which is characterized in that a layer having a refractive index of 1.3 to 3 is further formed on the upper electrode in at least one of regions in which red, green and blue colors respectively transmit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
