<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine which is capable of saving energy and reducing cost of electricity by setting power saving times, while being able to sell normal temperature merchandises such as a snack food without trouble. <P>SOLUTION: A vending machine includes, as at least one part of a plurality of merchandise storage chambers, a merchandise storage chamber which can be switched to a cooled state and to a heated state. It is provided with a heat pump comprising a compressor and a condenser which are disposed outside and a heat exchanger which is disposed in the merchandise storage chamber which can be switched to the cooled state and the heated state. It is configured to be capable of exhaust-heat-heating the inside of the merchandise storage chamber by using the heat exchanger as a condenser. It is provided with exhaust-heat-heating switching setting means which permits or inhibits exhaust-heat-heating of the inside of the merchandise storage chamber by using the heat exchanger as a condenser. Thus, it can save energy and cost of electricity by using available exhaust heat, and can perform normal temperature selling of a snack food or the like without trouble. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
