<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a coating solution which enables a visible light response-type photocatalyst coat to be formed by applying a coating treatment to the surface of a base material and drying the coat at normal temperatures, and a visible light response-type titanium dioxide-silicon dioxide-based photocatalyst coating solution. <P>SOLUTION: First, at least one kind of organic titanium compound selected from the group consisting of an alkoxytitanium compound represented by Ti(OR)<SB POS="POST">4</SB>[R is a mutually independent 1 to 6C hydrocarbon radical] and a titanium acetonato chelate, and at least one kind of organic silicon compound selected from the group consisting of an alkoxysilane represented by Si(OR)<SB POS="POST">4</SB>[R is a mutually independent 1 to 6C hydrocarbon radical] and a silane acetonato chelate, are mixed. Next an acid catalyst and urea are added to the mixed solution. After that, the mixture is heated at 100 to 200°C under pressure, and allowed to undergo a chemical reaction for one minute to 72 hours to prepare a titanium dioxide-silicon dioxide composite-type lubricating gel containing anatase-type titanium oxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
