<p>The invention relates to a bracket arrangement (1 ), e.g. for a vehicle hood hinge (22). The bracket arrangement (1 ) comprises a first bracket (2) and a second bracket (3) attached to each other. In a first, locked mode are the brackets (2,3) attached by a first bracket attachment (4) and a second bracket attachment (5). In a second, released mode are the brackets (2,3) pivotable with respect to each other. The change from the first, locked mode to the second, released mode is made by activating a safety release arrangement (6) comprising a housing (7), a piston (8) and an actuator (9) in order to move the piston (8) relative the housing (7). The bracket arrangement is further designed such that the housing (7) is attached to the first bracket (2) by housing attachments (10) such that the housing (7) may move relative said first bracket (2) while still being attached to the first bracket (2). This movement is caused by the safety release arrangement (6). The movement of the housing (7) cause the second bracket attachment (5) to be released such that the bracket arrangement (1 ) changes its mode from the first, locked mode to the second, released mode.</p> |
