The method involves connecting buffers (111-116) with respective Internet-multimedia-providers (121-126), and receiving multimedia data from the multimedia-providers. The received multimedia data is buffered in the buffers, and the buffered multimedia data is reproduced from one of the buffers. Additional information is received from a service provider (105), and a switch (103) is connected with the buffers for connecting the buffers with a decoder (102) for outputting the multimedia data from the buffers, where the decoder is coupled with an audio and/or video system of a motor car. An independent claim is also included for an Internet-multimedia system.
