The apparatus (10) has a stopping element (2) positioned at the lower end of a carrier plate (1), and a centering element (3) that is arranged centrally in the carrier plate. The magnets (4) are embedded at the upper end of the carrier plate, where a punching-, creasing- or embossing sheet is rested on the carrier plate. The magnet is designed as a permanent magnet or a switchable electromagnet. Two stopping elements, two centering elements and two magnets are provided in the carrier plate, where each stopping element has a holding function.
