[Problem] To provide a positioning member and a mold such that inflow of molten hot-melt adhesive into a through-hole formed on the positioning member can be inhibited. [Solution] This positioning member (30) is to be attached to a flat battery, for which power-generating components are sealed by means of an exterior material, and has a through-hole (31) for positioning the flat battery. The positioning member has: a sleeve (34) that projects from a flat surface (33) so as to surround the through-hole (31), and has a notched section (35) on a portion of the circumference; and a convex section (36) that extends linearly and faces the notched section (35) on the flat surface (33).
