<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint in which a flat and thick planar body is formed by tabular elements engaged each other, which is used for the tabular element easily assembled and strong, and which can be easily manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: A rabbet joint 2 is comprised of at least 3 ranges 2a, 2b, 2c, that is, an element side range 2a with surfaces in parallel each other, a range 2c rounded to terminate the rabbet joint 2, and a diameter tapering-off range 2b located between the parallel range 2a and the rounded 2c and having an inclined face extending in a direction mutually approaching.
